Frequently Asked Questions
The listed price is per single panel (1 panel), not a pair.
Most standard windows require two panels for a complete set. If you need a pair to cover both sides of your window, please update the quantity to 2 before adding to cart.
Most standard setups follow our quick 60-inch rule:
- Windows wider than 60 inches: Order 2 panels to achieve balanced fullness and allow easy center opening.
- Windows narrower than 60 inches: 1 panel is sufficient for single-side draw. However, if you prefer a classic, symmetrical look with drapes framing both sides, choose 2 panels.
Pro Tip for Fullness: Ensure the total combined width of your panels provides 1.5x to 2x fullness of your window width for rich, tailored folds.
We have created a detailed measurement guide for you. Please check ithere.
At hugmoom, all curtains are custom-made with built-in 2x fullness by default—no complicated math needed! Order your exact coverage size based on your hardware:
- Width to Order: Simply measure the total length of your rod or track (excluding decorative finials). We automatically add double the fabric to craft rich, tailored 2x pleats.
Our linings provide three distinct levels of light control and thermal insulation:
Unlined / Sheer (0–20% Blockout): Softly filters natural sunlight while maintaining daytime privacy.
Room Darkening Lining (70–85% Blockout): Significantly dims bedrooms and living areas, reduces glare, and protects furniture from UV rays.
100% Blackout Lining (100% Blockout): Complete light blocking, maximum thermal insulation, and noise dampening—ideal for day sleepers, nurseries, and home theaters.
At hugmoom, custom curtains are backed by our signature 100-Day Style Exchange and Quality Guarantee:
- 100-Day Free Style Exchange (Keep Original): If you are not satisfied with the style, color, or fabric, you can request a one-time exchange for a different design within 100 days. The replacement will be made in the same size (you only pay the shipping fee and price difference, if applicable)—and no return is needed; keep your original drapes!

Love these flowing yarn semi sheer curtains! The fabric drapes so beautifully, super soft and airy. Filters sunlight perfectly—bright but not harsh, and gives just the right privacy at night. No cheap thin material here, looks luxe for the price. So happy with how they elevate my living room! ✨

Tailor Your Desired Hanging Style
Measure Width and Length Accurately
Rail Width
- If you already have a curtain track, please upload its width (not including the rod head).
- If you don’t have one, measure the desired width of the curtain fabric, which is typically the width of the window frame plus 16-20 inches.
Drop Length
- The height of the curtain fabric usually extends 8-10 inches above the window frame.
- For pleated styles, measure from the track ring to the floor; for grommet and rod pocket styles, measure from the top of the rod to the floor.
